Påskbergsskolan is a K-9 school with an attached after-school program located in central Varberg, serving approximately 570 students.

We want to work more with relational leadership and a formative approach to create good conditions for our students. We aim to work more systematically to gain insight into teaching and its effects. It is crucial that we can implement early interventions and focus more on language development.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a school social worker, you will work preventively and health-promoting alongside the school's student health team. Your main task is to be active in the school's student health work through consultation, supervision, conducting training, and to some extent, investigation.

Part of the school social worker's role is to contribute, at the organizational, group, and individual levels, with the perspective of a school social worker on learning, promoting learning environments, and equitable education. You have a special responsibility to systematically monitor student attendance.

The school social worker's assignment is directed towards staff and learning environments as well as students and parents, providing opportunities for conversations.

Together with the existing social worker at the school, you will collaborate to ensure a cohesive approach to the school's values and safety work.

The position is 50% at Påskbergsskolan, during the period 250804-251219.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, and it is advantageous if you have work experience in social services.

The job requires high social competence, good ability to collaborate, and the ability to work independently.

An inclusive view of students should characterize your work and approach.

You need to support the school's staff and work together with them on both preventive and remedial measures. Together with staff and student health, you will work towards common development goals.
